Winter Wonderland
Livingston became a cold winter wonderland for a few days and the boys and I took advantage of it by bundling up and heading down to the park. Yes this is just a walk from our home. We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful setting where we can go enjoy the very beauty that has been created for us. It was only 12 degrees outside when we took these photographs but the air was clean and crisp and the ducks were still happily swimming in the lagoon. The boys played on the swings, went down the snowy slides and threw many snowballs at each other. Gavin opted to stay home to stay warm :) We didn't last long but that hour was magical.
Halloween Night
Orange hair for school on Halloween!!
Carter as a ghost in his school Halloween Parade
The old man and scary old woman graced our haunted porch for Halloween
Gavin's smiling pumpkin
Carter's cyclopse pumpkin with eyebrowls
Jessie the Gypsy/Hippie and Aaron as Aaron :)
Zach the skeleton and Gavin the Ninja
On our porch ready to greet the Halloween crowds!
This year we were lucky enough to live on "Halloween Street". We were warned when we moved into our home to expect up to 1000 trick or treaters and we were ready with almost a garbage bag full of candy!! We decorated the trees in front of the house with glowing ghosts and made a haunted porch with halloween music playing in the background. The boys LOVED having so many people coming to the house and helped pass out candy to lines and lines of children at our doorstep! They also loved the fact that they could run up and down the street without mom and dad. The highlight of the night was Gavin winning a bike and helmet at the harvest festival later that night. What a night to remember.
