Carter enjoyed a fun basketball season this winter. We were so happy that our good friend in our ward, Trevor Strupp was the coach while Aaron was the assistant coach. Carter also got to be on the team with his BEST bud, Tyler (Trevor's son) so it made the season that much better! This last picture is of Carter and Tyler after a great win! They had a great season and won every game except the last one. I am so grateful that the dad's would sacrifice their time to coach the boys! Great memories for them.

Here was one of the best days this winter for the boys. I Love montana! Right in the middle of a community of houses there is a park where they made a huge hill so in the wintertime the kids can enjoy a fast and furious sledding experience! And you if you're not sledding like me, you can enjoy watching the thrill of excitement on their faces and take in the beauty all around. Aaron was at the top of the hill the entire time making sure the boys would be launched down that hill as fast as possible. Thanks Grandma Mary for the tube, it was a hit!

Happy Birthday CARTER!

I can't believe my middle son is now 10 years old today. I remember the day he was born and everyone remarked at how much dark hair he had! He has been a fun-loving and active boy ever since he came into the world. He loves sports and anything that keeps him busy. My favorite attribute about carter is his tender heart. He is always the one to make sure I am taken care of and he shows his love with his many hugs. He is always the first one, and usually only one to notice when someone needs help and he does it willingly and selflessly. We love Carter and are so very blessed to be a part of his life. I am so grateful for eternal families.

Santa comes to the Roberts house

There was something of a christmas miracle this year as the day came. Aaron and I were commenting on the pure joy we were feeling and how the spirit of christmas had truly descended on us that day. I have a feeling that there was more to it then we could even see and after all the challenges we faced this year, we seemed to receive an extra helping of christmas cheer. I will never forget this first christmas in the warmth of our little home on Yellowstone Street.. Truly Magical.

Merry Christmas EVE.

I enjoyed the day with my boys baking mounds of sugar and gingerbread cookies. In the evening we all treated ourselves to a good dinner at "The Sport" restaurant here in town. It was a nice snowy evening and hardly a soul in sight as we ate and watched the snowfall outside. Back at the house we had a birthday cake and peppermint ice cream, my favorite! We kept our traditions of opening up pajamas and reading the story of Christ's birth and The night before christmas. It was a magical day and I am so thankful for these precious boys and my family.

Winter Wonderland

Livingston became a cold winter wonderland for a few days and the boys and I took advantage of it by bundling up and heading down to the park. Yes this is just a walk from our home. We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful setting where we can go enjoy the very beauty that has been created for us. It was only 12 degrees outside when we took these photographs but the air was clean and crisp and the ducks were still happily swimming in the lagoon. The boys played on the swings, went down the snowy slides and threw many snowballs at each other. Gavin opted to stay home to stay warm :) We didn't last long but that hour was magical.
